This location constantly disappoints with the quality of food. Either the order is messed up or the sandwich is gross. The soup was great and the service was awesome. Fix the quality of the food you’re putting out.
I’m not sure what is happening to this brand, but it is falling apart. The prices keep going up, portions are going down and the service is the worst. I understand covid has impacted businesses, but seriously. I’ve given this place 4 chances and last night was the final straw for me. I was the one of 2 cars in the drive thru. They came on told me to hold and then came back saying, what do you want. Then after ordering I sat at the window for over 15 mins and watched several employees just standing around. One sat down by a rack of bread and just looked at me. They were cutting bread with their hands and no gloves and took my payment right before that. They kept touching their face and mask and then packed my food. Why even require a mask of you are touching your face every 3 seconds? It’s a mood point. The area I could see through the drive thru was dirty. This brand use to pride itself off the service and food. Now it has nothing, the food is minimal at best and the service is none existing.
Had the Asian Sesame Salad with Chicken with Green Tea to drink. Place was busy. We sat on the patio. Service was less than typical. The didnt after sides just gave us bread.
I keep going to the Lake St. Louis store because it’s close to hime and I keep thinking it will get better. Once again, they didn’t have all the ingredients for the salad. The last 2 times they didn’t have the toppings, tonight they didn’t have the dressing. One night I worked late and decided to drive thru for a salsa. Website says they are open till 9. I arrived at 8 and they told me they were closed. I will either drive a few miles to another one or quit Panera completely. The workers could care less, too.
Last night we went through the drive-thru and I ordered a Bacon Turkey Bravo sandwich. When I got home, I was disappointed with the sandwich that I got. The lettuce that was "on" the sandwich was all over the paper and it was wilted. There was no Gouda cheese, tomatoes, or sauce. The bread was not the Tomato Basil Bread (which I LOVE) and the turkey was in a lump and not carved and spread over the bread. So what I got was a lump of turkey with wilted lettuce and a few strips of bacon on sourdough bread. I love going to Panera but I will absolutely NOT be returning to this location again.
