First experience was awesome. I personally love sitting outside. This patio, and eye catching outside bar was fantastic. I had the sliders made like there (spicy burger)they were great. The crinkle fries were good. Wife had waffle fries those were great. So if you just need to chill and have a beer or need some caloric intake. Their large beer selection or deep menu options you will have you second guessing every decision.
My experience really was very middle of the ground. While it has its pros, I don't really know that I'll be going back, though I wouldn't reject going should a friend decide they want to... First, the Cauliflower bites were phenomenal. Maybe the best I'd ever had. And, while the drink I'd ordered was a little bland, it was mostly liquor, so it made up for the drink prices. The waffle fries had great flavor! The menu was full of unique slight twists to familiar items. However, those waffle fries came out cold. The burger I got was extremely greasy (it kept slipping out of the bun). American cheese should never be a topping in a restaurant charging $14 for a meal. And lastly, the kids grilled cheese, which was a single piece of American between two pieces of bread, cost like, $7. I liked the atmosphere and certain things, but nothing felt like it was worth the prices they charged.
We sat outside at the bar on a Friday night for happy hour, it was beautiful. We had stuffed mushrooms and pretzels to start. Highly recommend the stuffed mushrooms. Next we had wings w/Chinese take out sauce. At first I didn’t care for this but it finished with very mild heat and it grows on you. The vodka clubs were fantastic, heavy pour. Kind of expensive for happy hour (in my humble opinion)but give it a try and see what you think.
Went there for breakfast one time and found out it's like a lunch and dinner only kinda place so we ordered some pizza and pickle chips. The pickle chips were really good and the service was great. The scenery was very pretty. Only problem was the pizza, we ordered the vegetarians dream pizza (with some bacon added) and the pizza had practically zero tomato sauce. I don't know if that's bc it was vegetarian or what, but it tasted very dry and the bottom crust was burnt pretty dark. The toppings looked like they were dumped in the middle and not scattered at all. Best part of the meal was the water tho, it actually was probably the best restaurant water I've ever had. Hopefully this was an isolated incident of poor pizza but I won't be ordering pizza anymore.
In this covid world, the service was great and timely, even with a full restaurant. I ordered the BBQ burger med to medium well, unfortunately it came out well done and dry. The chicken and fish batter coating was awful, I wouldn't recommend it. Sides were good - but all of it was on par with average bar food.
