We had a wonderful experience working with 18 N Central and The Loft Banquet Center for our High School Grad Night Event. The management team went out of their way to meet our individual needs. They were professional, friendly, timely in communication, and easy to work with. The management team and staff at the event were friendly and helpful and provided our group with a well organized, clean, and fun event. The food and drinks served were timely and delicious! We couldn't be more pleased with the our experience.
We had our wedding reception here in April and our experience was one for the books. The team at The Loft Banquet Center went above and beyond to help us make our reception one that we would never forget, from allowing us to decorate the day before, to letting us leave things overnight, to letting us call 100 different times with questions, and showing up unannounced to view the location with family and friends months before the reception. I cannot express how grateful and thankful we are to all the staff at The Loft Banquet Center. We are so thankful we chose your location to have our reception!
What an incredible space! The venue is super clean with clean restrooms, it's spacious, and contemporary. I highly recommend The Loft Banquet Center for your next corporate get together, wedding reception, or party!
Planning our Second annual Christmas Ball. Good access to the grand ballroom for our many people with different abilities. Plenty of room for Santa, Photo op and dancing. The food was delicious. Looking forward to another special event. The owner and staff could not be any more helpful and understanding.
The owner should never be allowed to talk to clients. The staff is friendly and helpful. The chef was amazing. The owner should stick to staying at home if he can’t respectfully address people. We had a family member have their wedding here, they toured the place 2 years ago. Signed the contract about a year ago, the venue has videos up in 2019 of how it’s ADVERTISED. Chairs on one side of the venue and tables on the other side. The night before the wedding, we had the rehearsal dinner and set up. Came upstairs to find the food line was set up where the ceremony was going to be. When asked if we were allowed to move things the owner stated no that bride needs to walk through the tables to have her ceremony. A few months ago, they asked if there can be vegetarian food options available they stated just give us a number we will make it happen. The night before the wedding the owner told us no, that they need to pick around the food. Unacceptable. The chef came up and talked to us about the table situation and he stated yes we can move things around. The owner came up a few hours later stating No we are not allowed to move the food tables and we were not allowed to touch his stuff. He stated, “There is water already in the food containers”. If not having enough staff is the excuse to why they were allowed to move things around then they should take down the videos on YouTube that are displaying the layout. When we told the owner this, he started the video as 5 years old and that venue changes that we just need to get used to it. First and foremost every bride is different every person who books this has a different idea of what they need. He needs to be more flexible and reasonable. We ended up having to change her layout and seating arrangements all last minute so she didn’t have to walk in between tables. Like I said before the staff is amazing and if the owner talks to his guest this way I can’t imagine what he tells his employees. They all seemed scared to be around him. Around 8:30 the guest was dancing and the owner turned on the lights and then walked away. I find that very rude as the time they were supposed to be out is 10:30. There are a few other incidents where he was rude to people and at that point we just ended the wedding pretty early and called it a night. If I could just rate the owner I would say he shouldn’t be allowed to be around guests let your employees do the work as you are not professional.
