I will allow the rating to speak for itself. There are many on here who like this shop, and I certainly respect that. Will only say Buyer Beware.
One of the last of a dying breed... a real life, Barber Shop! Straight razor and all! I hate that I forgot the proprietors name, but he was just a good ol' boy, redneck, from rural Missouri and proud of his roots! Came to the city and found his passion, bartering! And darn good it! Masterful with the straight razor. I loved the experience! He was kind and gentle, and funny as he'll! I am recovering from a MAJOR surgery, where I had 42 staples placed in my abdomen, and he was so kind to help me in and out of my chair. Very patient! And, again, very funny! If you are looking for some yuppy, uppy, spot, don't bother coming here. But, if you want a fantastic haircut, or shave, from a self-proclaimed, and proud, good ol' boy redneck, a master at his craft... You MUST give this guy a chance! I wish I could give 10 stars! I loved mu experience! Thank you, good sir!
Went to this place and it was absolutely disgusting. A nasty cigarette smell as soon as you enter and the place is quite literally the definition of nasty and dirty. As for the haircut the barber I had seemed to try to rush and didn’t even care about the request I gave him he didn’t even listen at the end the barber didn’t even seem to care and just wanted to get it over with without a care of what I think. DO NOT COME HERE! I will never be returning, absolutely unbelievable.

Great Place to get a Haircut Vince did a great job at the Historic Barber Shop. I used to go here when I was knee high to a grasshopper moved away been gone for 21 years. so much has changed My Barbers are no longer there but I wanted a real man's haircut which you can hardly find anyone great. Vince is a very talent Barber and cut my hair the way the old timers who ran this place years ago. men you want a real hair cut then go see Vince you'll be glad you did.
