We were in the St. Charles downtown historic district for the first time and wanted somewhere special to have dinner. Our choice was Tony’s on Main. It was excellent! Apparently, it’s a popular spot, as the place was packed with people talking, laughing, and having a good time. Liked the exposed brick décor, but especially loved the canoe hanging from the ceiling, which was unexpected and fun. There are many items on their menu, but I decided to try the Steak Modiga. It’s two tenderloin medallions that are lightly breaded and smothered with cheese, white wine lemon sauce, and mushrooms. Delicious! And our server was terrific, too.

Had great experience here while in the area for hockey trip. Plenty of parking. Food was excellent. Waitress was great. Big portions. Only hangup was hostess stand manned by young girls/women that tried to sit us in bar area, then put us at table along at some large groups because of trying to balance out volume to waitstaff rather than accommodating our request for nice (and open) booth. Restaurants should insist a little better from the hostess… but overall experience with our waitress was great. Would def come back. Good value too.

The waiter was great and very nice always on top of refills. We never had to wait any more than 10 minutes for a refill food was great bread was off and Ravioli was great. The pasta was a bit watered down if that makes any sense. Everyone here is talkative and happy waiters are friendly and always in a good mood I would recommend this for people looking for a date place or a fancy place to hang out with friends

I came here to celebrate a friend's 40th birthday. This was a perfect choice. Great atmosphere, our drinks were never empty, the food was delicious (I forgot to take pictures because we were having a wonderful time), and the staff was friendly. For me, this would not be a place I would take my kids. I would save this for a date night or a girls' night out. P.S. the drink in the picture is a Bomb Pop martini. It tastes exactly like the popsicle and is one of the best drinks I've ever had.

Excellent Pasta Tony's, Angel Hair with creamy garlic sauce with large shrimp & mushrooms. Service was great and the teamwork of employees to make everything go smoothly made our meal memorable. We will return often.
