I really liked being able to wait at home while I was "in line". I called on a busy Saturday at 9 in the morning and was already number 32. I was able to have my day and run over about 10 minutes before it was my turn. The staff was friendly and the Dr. took her time and explored a few different options for treatment and asked my preference. Caring and competent.
Aside from the wait in the car, which realistically not very long, due to maintaining social distance, the visit was as good as could be expected. The staff was welcoming and friendly up front. The medical technician had patience and very calming demeanor. The nurse practitioner did an excellent job explaining my diagnosis so I understood them, allowed me to ask any questions and I did not feel rushed. I left feeling as I was taken care of and genuinely cared about. Comparatively it felt like I was their only patient even though I am one of so very many they see on a daily basis. I appreciate the care I received and if the need should arise in the future for myself or my family I will consider seeking care with this particular location and staff. I applaud them, their training and work ethic.
I was really impressed with my overall experience, from the time I walked in, I was given an up front wait time and put inline on an online link. I was able to follow the progress and it ended up being quicker the the projected time. All of the staff was very nice and pleasant. I didn’t have to wait long to get placed in the room, see the nurse, and then they let me know that the doctor was going to be in shortly. It was the quickest urgent care visit I have ever had.
I highly recommend Total Access Urgent care. The staff are all Friendly, and the physicians and technicians are very knowledgeable. My 89-year old friend went to Mercy urgent care and was told to come back 5 days after being exposed to Covid. It was day 3 for her. I recommended Total Access on Highway K. She walked in and was given a rapid test. Everyone was so nice and caring to her.
This is the third location of TAUC I have visited and all of my experiences have been positive. The staff at this location are just as professional, kind and caring as all their locations. They really make you feel taken care of. They explain things well and listen to your concerns. They answer questions completely in plain language. One piece of advice... if you get on their wait list online... call and ask appropriately how long so you can wait at home comfortably if possible. They are very good at moving patients as quickly as possible but cannot control volume or how long each patient may need for care. They really are the best urgent care in the area.
