The food was delicious 😋🤤 and the staff was awesome. We celebrated my son's 17 birthday dinner here. And can't wait to eat here again. One of the best dinner experiences I've had while visiting St Charles/Louis 😉💯
My experience at this place has been extraordinary. Every time I am here, the food exceeds my expectations and is always the 5-star 🌟 food I expect. The salad buffet is remarkable! I rated the service 4 stars only because I expected the people asking people if they wanted certain meat, to ask everyone every time if they want, during my time there that wasn't the case, they only asked the people who were closer to them and not my whole table. The bathrooms were pretty clean, and I got some pictures of it as well. There is always a good vibe that makes you feel comfortable in Tucanos Brazilian Grill.
I was invited to have dinner here with a large group of people. The staff is very friendly and professional. The salad bar is a little different than most restaurant salad bars. The meat, chicken, pork and fish were ok, but tasted different than what I expected. It took a while before the servers started bringing out the skewers of meat. The place is not the style of eating that I like. Just personal choice.
Heads up, if you’re hitting this place on a Saturday, you might end up waiting forever like we did – over two hours from 4:45 to 7! Definitely, do yourself a favor and book ahead. On the bright side, the wait staff were total champs, super friendly, and on their game, which kinda made the wait less of a drag. The grill game here leans heavily towards medium rare, so if you’re all about that well-done life, might not be your jam. We like it medium rare, so no complaints there. All in all, it was pretty decent!
The food was overall really good. A few options were mildly overdone. A few were standouts (the fried fish with mango glaze, the chicken thighs, the grilled pineapple, the prime steak, and salmon). The buffet has a lot of great options and looked like it was kept in good shape. The service was great. They keep up with you and offer you food near constantly. You get your own carafe of water (YES!!) The atmosphere looks like it could use a bit of an update. Overall, it was a good experience and good food.
