Tellers can't read dates on checks and sent one back to my mom that had been for Christmas money from my grandparents, resulting in overdraft fees on our account because they are inept. The ATM also is always broken. Don't bank with Vantage if you can help it.

This bank has a hold on my CASH deposit for almost a week now for no legitimate reason. Navy Federal CU has this ATM listed as a Co-op bank. After countless calls with navy federal we figured that they automatically hold cash deposits for 5 business days?! Almost day number 6 still no signs of actually receiving my money on my account!

The worst possible place to deal with gave my wife a very hard time even with a lawyer and court orders getting her father's Ira out of there greedy hands. I'm sure they planned on keeping it

If I could give less than a star I would.
They always have a line around the block to use one of their digital tellers outside of the building. Inside the building has the same tech but the digital tellers can do little more than an ATM. Want a bank statement? Can't do that. Have to setup and appointment. I'm busy and came in on my day off. I do not have time to setup an appointment for a service y'all used to do at request.
On top of all this I recently changed financial institutions because VCU had made a lot of terrible changes. I thought I would leave the account open in case any stimulus money came in or anything and for the few things that charged to that account I could pay the money and update the payment location. Vantage has my email and my phone number. Instead of updating me that my account was in the negative they waited until I was hundreds of dollars in the negative to send me some snail mail. For what was the equivalent of about $100 they have now charged me well over $300 in overdraft fees. They had no interest in notifying me and were more than happy to charge me a boatload in fees, the service has fallen beneath the basement floor, and they are loaded with incompetence and untrained "professionals", which is pretty stressful when it comes to my money.

I do realize that with covid going on that staff has been stretched. But there is one teller line open and ten cars deep. Unacceptable some people dont have 45 mins to wait in line. Hire more staff or transfer others from a different location. The inside of the bank isnt even open so contact with others is very minimal. If we cant go in i dont expect to wait in line this long.
