Absolutely awful service. The staff is completely unorganized and unprofessional. Don’t even bother making an appointment b/c you will still end up waiting a very long time. The vision center manager is useless and has no control over the staff. Stick with LensCrafters, I went there and the service was exceptional.
Every single time I come here I am here for way too long, they are very slow. Also, every time I come I have issues. I will not be returning. The doctors are always super nice and fast though. But the check out is the problem.
We just had a wonderful experience at this Optometry office. The optometrist was wonderful with my four-year-old daughter. She had an excellent time and he was extremely thorough. Our family highly recommends him!
First as a disclaimer I’m a very understanding forgiving person and it takes a lot for me to go to Google to write a review. However, after countless issues with the O’Fallon Vision Center I finally gave up on getting contacts through them. After multiple office visits 4-5 (?) to find the perfect fit and strength of contacts, (understandable) I still have no contacts and nothing to show for so much time wasted. The staff is extremely unorganized, lost my various trial contacts multiple times, gave me the wrong strength, forgot to order, told me they were in and then couldn’t find them, leaving me calling and going up there day after day trying to figure out what was going on FOR WEEKS. My final attempt of giving them the benefit of the doubt was calling asking for the manager after explaining everything that happened and being told “He may be in at this day and this time, I’m not sure I don’t have the schedule, just keep calling”. After that I realized how much time I had wasted and how pointless it all was. To this day I still have received no phone calls about the 4th pair of trial contacts I would still technicaly be waiting for. (It’s been almost 2 months!!) Dont waste your time or money.
I got exam (and son got exam on same day by Dr. Bagwasi in March 2018.. THEN THE BIGGER PROBLEM: Sarah, the office person, told me that Walmart vision would not stand behind their prescription for me which was obviosly wrong. They did not quality check my prescription against my last exam (which they did and i had trouble with also). Their prescription claimed my bad eye had a miracle and was perfect and needed no correction yet the other eye stayed at the same level of correctuon. That doesn't even make common sense. Moreover, I was the one who had to notice this problem when they started to make my glasses and I realized that if they make the glasses with the bad prescription I won't be able to see. That is common sense when I told them that they said well it's been over 60 days. It has been 63 days since the exam so therefore we won't cover getting your eye exam corrected which is obviously wrong and even some of the people in the store agreed it was wrong looking at my previous prescription. Also I could cover one eye with my hand and read signs while I was sitting there and told them that the good eye, that they claimed was a miracle, was actually the worst eye and they had gotten the eyes mixed up, at a minimum. Then when I told Sarah that it had been only a couple days over, and that shouldn't be a problem, and she was really rude and laughed in my face and said " haha have a nice day we're not going to do anything to help you". I told her that I would report it to my company and the insurance company and write bad reviews so that other people can be saved from this doctor and this office because they don't stand behind anything and they are doing low quality work on top of it and not reasonableness checking their data which is something you always do with data. On top of tgis my son couldntc see out of his prescription either....so it's trend. Do not go there!
