I’m 45 and started trying to play guitar for the 3rd time in my life. This time I used Joe Park as my instructor. He has made the lessons so much fun and in 4-5 lessons has me feeling so much further along.
Highly recommend Joe if you want to learn to play the guitar.

I have always wanted to learn to sing, so at age 50-something I decided to make it a reality. I found Wentzville’s Music online, filled out contact form and within a few days I received a phone call. I was informed they just hired Tony, an Ambassador with Ambassadors of Harmony and a cello player to teach voice and strings. They were excited to have him and believed I would like him too. I have to admit BEFORE my first lesson I was extremely nervous and feeling intimidated. I stress BEFORE because at my first lesson Tony immediately made me feel more at ease. He asked if I had warmed up my voice and I didn’t even know what he meant. I expressed I was nervous because I knew nothing about singing. His reply was something to the effect of ‘An empty cup I love it!’ Since that first session in September I have learned a lot. I have even sang at my first recital, a result of practice combined with my instructor’s patience and encouragement. He is the perfect blend of being personable and professional. His passion for music is contagious. I look forward to my 30 minute sessions every week. It is never wasted time. I love that I am being taught through different types of songs. At first I didn’t understand it all, but now I get it. I have learned to trust my teacher. I am grateful for Tony and for Wentzville Music. Everyone I have spoke with at this store have been kind and eager to assist. With their help I am gradually stepping out of my comfort zone learning a skill I have always desired to acquire , and it is surprisingly affordable. So if you’re reading this contemplating if you should take music lessons…..Yes! Do it here! I highly recommend Tony for voice lessons, and if I ever go for Strings I would choose him too!

If there were 10 stars I'd click them all. We love this place! Our daughter is 11 now and has been taking lessons from Jackie since she was 6 years old. She could play full songs after only a few weeks and now has several trophies and other awards from all of the great Festivals and Contests they have led us to. Our 4 year old will be starting this year also! The music store also has great prices!

My son took piano lessons from Jackie for several years before going to music school, my daughter took viola lessons for a couple years while still in music school, and I have taken piano lessons for a couple years (just to keep my old fingers nimble). Jackie is an excellent and very patient teacher with a heart for helping people learn, and she runs an excellent business!

I am not sure who these others are talking about, but I found Wentzville Music to be a lovely store with a surprising and interesting variety of items and instruments. I found the owners to be very pleasant folks and knowledgeable as well. They commissioned my husband to design a stained glass logo for their front window. Nice folks and easy to deal with.
