My wife and I bought a house last year - it was a remodel done by I expect a single contractor / handyman. Overall the house is great condition, however within three months of moving in two exterior doors began to deteriorate and eventually were extremely difficult to open / falling apart on the outside. We made the decision to completely replace the doors. I contacted three different companies for quotes, Windows Doors and More being one of the three. Two of the companies I contacted came by and spent less than 5 minutes looking at the exterior of the doors and then left and sent us a quote - they never looked at the interior portion of the door and didn’t ask our input about what doors we were looking for. We were left with a rather sour taste in our mouth. For what we were paying we expected a more thorough quote / estimate. Dan Asher from Windows Doors and More blew our expectations away. He spent an hour if not more looking over the interior / exterior of our two doors and was able to tell us exactly why the doors were failing and offered solutions. He also sat down with us and let us design each door ourselves going over all the options. The difference between Windows Doors and More and the other two companies was night and day, and the amount of time they spent going over our estimate / options reassured us that they would be the best choice and do the best work. And they absolutely did. Our doors were installed yesterday and we have been nothing but impressed. They fixed all the original issues from the patchwork job done by the original contractor before we bought the house and installed the new doors perfectly. They were timely and professional and had everything finished up in one day. We couldn’t be happier. I wish I had before photos because the difference is night and day. If you’re looking for a professional company that will ensure everything is done correctly the first time then look no further.
Return customer of Dan and his team, and, once again, I am thrilled with their work! They did such a good job with the sliding glass door, I got a bid for 8 windows in my house. They quoted two days for the installation, but 4 guys completed it in about 6 hours, which allowed me to get back to my routine quickly. I work from home, and the team accommodated my meeting schedule so that work wasn't disrupted at all. Plus, the install was done when it was really cold in December, and they kept all relevant doors shut so I wouldn't be freezing. There was one window I haven't updated yet, because it will be part of a kitchen reno, and during that really cold spell in January, there was frost on the inside of that one, but all the others were completely insulated and you couldn't even feel cold coming off of them--definitely high quality. I've also noticed a measurable temp difference between my upstairs and downstairs since the update. It used to be drafty downstairs, but now the temps are the same. Finally, the windows look beautiful. The update has really brightened my interior. Adding a sampling of the photos (2 before, 3 after; they were still doing the finishing on a couple of the photos, but the last photo is the finished product). Can't say enough good about this company: professional, responsive, attentive, and they go the extra mile. Thank you Dan and team!
By far the BEST customer service I have received since purchasing my home. From the sale to the install to clean up afterwards. I am so impressed, highly recommend this company Typically I have to go back and clean or fix something. I can’t find a thing out of place if you need windows this is the way to go I didn’t do all of my windows, but will have them back to do the others In addition to the great service, they also have great pricing I can’t say enough good things
I Love my new front door!! I had a unique door opening and a 50 year old door that I could see daylight around. Dan was so patient as we worked through options to replace and still meet my “must haves” for this front door. I am so impressed by the quality of the door and the quick install.
