Update: 12/11/2024 Contractor no showed again. Looks like this might stretch out to 3 years.
Terrible experience. We ordered an expensive Pella sliding glass door from this location over 2 years ago and are still trying to get it installed correctly. Initially, Lowes contracted with Summit Installation. The installer they sent out botched the job so badly, the door wouldn’t lock, it wasn’t level, and you could daylight through the top.
Pella actually sent a bad panel too that they tried to replace but when they arrived, they said the frame was installed so poorly that they could not put the new panel in the frame. After sending the original installer out several times and eventually a supervisor, they determined I needed a whole new door. I thought they were working on it, but after several months, I reached out and was told they were no longer using Summit and were now using Install Partners and they need to send someone out.
Install Partners sent out their supervisor who agreed the installation was horrible and I needed a whole new door. Finally new door was ordered and guess who shows up from Install Partners? The original guy who botched the job. I told him I didn’t want him working in my house again. Install Partners scheduled another day and he showed up again!
Finally, Install Partners sent a different crew and the door appears to be in correctly. Now though, the screen door is too small! So I don’t have a screen to go with a $5000 custom Pella door.
This entire experience has been a nightmare and I’m going to see if my credit card can do a chargeback. I’ve been a loyal Lowes customer for a decade, but I don’t think I’ll be using this company again.
I urge you to seek other options when looking for home improvement. YouTube videos and my limited DIY knowledge would have saved me 2 years of headache and 8 days my wife and I have had to take off work to be home for these visits.

I was attempting to purchase a bathroom vanity top and faucet, my daughter and I were two of four customers in the entire store. I walked by 5 associates while trying to find the vanity tops, 4 of which were much more interested in chatting with their co workers than acknowledging my existence. I finally had to pull up their website so I could find the correct isle, I still couldn’t find what I was looking for, I decided I’d just get the faucet, their website sent me to the wrong isle for that. We left empty handed and very frustrated. I appreciate Lowe’s offering a military discount, that’s why my husband likes us to shop there but I’d gladly pay the extra 10% to Home Depot for their customer service, I’ve never walked into a home depot and been ignored.

Great place if you pick things up yourself. Delivery is their downfall. Gave no notice of arriving, showed up while tenant wasn't home and left after 10 minutes. You can't give a 12 hour window with ZERO notice of arrival. Poor third party delivery system with no accountability. Wouldn't recommend having anything delivered from them.

This review is strictly for Lowe’s partnership with their contractor installers. When you purchase a product from Lowe’s and also pay for that product to be installed, if for any reason you have to return the product e.g. wrong product shipped/received, product damaged in shipment and returned, Lowe’s will cancel BOTH the original product sale AND the install date/time you chose with the contractor. You will have to reschedule your install date even if that date is in the future and is still the date/time you wanted. The original install date/time you requested probably will no longer be available because of the time that has passed from date of Lowe’s.com order and receipt of product. Lowe’s needs to make return of the product and cancellation of the install independent of one another for those instances where a non defective replacement product can be secured prior to the originally chosen install date.

I really just want to talk about one associate. John is a veteran who helped me at the cash register. He was actually the first associate who approached me and asked if I needed help with anything. If you ever get the chance to talk to John, your day just seems to improve from there. He made a giant home improvement store seem like it was the small-town hardware store where no one is a stranger. Thank you, John!
