I purchased a Whirlpool refrigerator from Lowe’s St. Charles delivered May 26, 2022. On Saturday January 21, 2023 the refrigerator stopped working properly and I called Whirlpool, but they were closed for the weekend. Nobody home. On Monday January 23, 2023 I called Whirlpool and was told the best they could do was to schedule a service call for February 7, 2023…..two weeks and one day later. They knew all my food would rot, there would be no place to store perishables or medicines. “Too bad” we’re the final words from Whirlpool. So, I went to Lowe’s in St. Charles and talked with Josh, the store manager. He was worse. Josh lied to me. Josh said he couldn’t do anything to help, had no refrigerators available before the February 7 service call, and had no other options. I asked him if any of the display models worked. He said yes. Josh did have options, and lied about it. I hate being lied to. Bottom line…..I have an 8 month old refrigerator that is broken, nobody can even look at it for over 2 weeks, and Whirlpool doesn’t care and Lowe’s does not care. Josh, I hope this happens to your family someday so you will know exactly how I feel. If I knew this was the treatment a customer gets beforehand, I never would have considered making this purchase at Lowe’s. I am the sucker. Don’t you be one.

I would rate it zero stars if they would let me. I am a contractor and my wife and I purchased appliances from Sam Davis. That was a huge mistake. First he belittled me and talked to me like I was stupid and criticized all of our decisions. I never asked for his opinion. I asked for his ordering skills which I would soon find out he lacked. He told me the wrong delivery date so I took off and lost wages for a day for nothing. Then the refrigerator came with no front panels. Dana the front desk “manager” should not be allowed to speak to customers. My wife and I have never been disrespected so much. My wife had to personally go to the store 5 times to get the issue handled. Extremely unprofessional. Dana interrupted us and made us feel like it was our fault. I will never return and I canceled my contractor account. I shouldn’t have to threaten to sue to get front panels for my refrigerator. Some manager “fixed” the issue but it was too late. I spent over 15k in less than a month at this location and it’s probably the biggest regret I have had in 20 years. Do better. Reach out and fix things.

Employees were easy to locate, happy to help and fairly knowledgeable. The guy over by wallpaper was so helpful, he actually took the time to look up the product I was looking for on his computer. He showed me what Lowe's offered online as well as another website that sold exactly what I needed. The lines moved fairly quickly, too.
