I am so disappointed. At first glance, this is a beautiful Christmas Pop Up, but there needs to be more to a business than just visual beauty and Olive Tree Marketplace is lacking in a few critical key areas. Customer service, pricing, and MORE customer service. I purchased a water snow globe here for $49.99 and then found the same item on Amazon for $34.95. Same manufacturer (Melrose International) and even the same model # (80787) That is a huge markup and though I do not begrudge a business making a profit, I could no longer give this as a gift knowing what I knew. Further research on Amazon proved that there were tons of water globes with varying scenes and also different manufacturer names applied to them with prices NEARLY HALF of what I paid. My receipt does say exchange or store credit within 7 days, and then "All seasonal goods are FINAL sale". Seeing as ALL of the items at this store are in fact seasonal, that means BUYER BEWARE. I took my item back to the store anyway, and was certain that when they heard my story, they would at the very least offer me a store credit. I was given a very stern "NO" by 2 sales people before chatting with a manager. The manager treated me as if I were a hostile customer just trying to cause trouble. I assure you I was calm, my voice never raised, and I explained my dissatisfaction in a respectable manner. This manager became instantly abrasive and confrontational and said things like, "This is nothing at all like what's on Amazon!" Absolutely not the same quality!" "Ugh, where is the bottom?!" (the battery compartment cover had fallen off and was in between layers of tissue paper). All the while she was bagging the globe up and doing her best to get rid of me. I never had the chance to show her all of what I found online (including the same globe from the same manufacturer and model #). The last thing she said, was "I can't help you. You can come back when the owner is here if you want." I will surely NOT be going back, and caution anyone making a purchase here to do their comparative homework before buying anything.
Byrnes Realty Group stopped to shop at their location in the Meadows for our Small Business Brunch on the Bus shopping tour. The shop is gorgeous. We had a great time. Perfect discovery. We were also able to meet three vendors which offered great products too.

The Olive Tree Market place is amazing. There are so many beautiful items and the staff is very helpful. The wentzville location has many unique and beautiful furniture. If you’re looking for quality merchandise the Olive Tree Marketplace is it.
I bought what I thought was the cutest farmhouse looking table from this shop. We were so excited to bring it home as we had just bought a house! Within DAYS this kitchen table and chairs were falling apart. Paint wiping & peeling up, the chair seats have all came off and every time my little one sits in it it collapses, we constantly have to put them back into place and screws aren’t holding them, the table clearly was NOT prepped for painting so no work was put into it (I re do furniture as well), the table doesn’t stay together at all where the leaf is placed so we are constantly pushing it back together, the sides lean down so bad so things roll right off of it, the chairs are also coming undone (the wood work) and we have to bang them back together with our hands, one of the supports needs to be replaced… I’m sure there’s more. I’ve called to talk to the owner and it’s clear my issue is not important. I’ve received no call back. I paid $800 for the chairs and table and we’re going to have to toss it soon. From experience I would say the furniture should be displayed as DECOR ONLY & not for actual use.. just for the simple fact we are now miserable with our purchase and we can’t use it… it falls apart just by sitting down and touching it. I wouldn’t give my business to this shop and I won’t refer them. If anything when someone’s asks (which they have) I’ll explain how we got screwed. Please take your time testing out furniture I wish I would have
