St. Charles County, Missouri, is blessed with a wide variety of eateries. There are many places to buy donuts and other baked goods, but sometimes you want something special. Today’s blog will focus on independently owned and operated bakeries that produce unique baked goods – both sweet and savory. Many of these bakeries provide catering services and special orders for weddings, corporate meetings, and family get-togethers.
1. Grandma’s Cookies

They emphasize superior artisan baked goods made with local, seasonal, and natural ingredients. You can enjoy a European-style pastry in a modern atmosphere along with locally roasted coffees. 3. SugarBot Sweet Shop

4. Bike Stop Bakery
The Bike Stop Bakery has recently moved to 1312 North 2nd Street in Historic Frenchtown, St. Charles, Missouri. The Bike Stop Bakery bakes homemade bread and baked goods for the Bike Stop Cafe located in St. Charles. They provide custom cakes and cupcakes for events. 5. Sweet Things Bakery
Sweet Things Bakery is located at 3224 Rue Royale in New Town, St. Charles, Missouri. They focus on creating sweet and savory goods in small batches. 6. Peace Love Coffee Bakery, Cafe & Vegan Market
Located in Historic St. Charles at 524 South Main Street, this unique spot offers a vegan coffeehouse, cafe, and market. 7. Crooked Tree Coffee House
Located at 559 First Capitol Drive in St. Charles, The Crooked Tree Coffee House is open 7 days a week, serving coffee, crepes, sandwiches, wraps, salads, and more. Muffins, cinnamon rolls, scones, chocolate chip cookies, and gluten-free cookies are available daily. They have a full breakfast and lunch menu which keeps customers coming back year after year.
